Activate CLI Commands on Lightweight AP

When Cisco access points with IOS are running in Lightweight (controller-based) mode, the full IOS commands are not available.

However the full IOS commands can activated by a hidden command. The command is depending on the installed version, either lwapp (lightweight access point protocol) or capwap (Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points) protocol.

    debug lwapp console cli
      -or-
    debug capwap console cli
Activate CLI Commands on Lightweight AP

Based on my experience, this works for Cisco 1140, 1240, 2600 and 3600 series access points.
